The glaze resulted in a little over baked/fired... |

...but the new dark metallic glaze produced great results for contrast in the nooks of the hair. |

With my internship experience working with wood stains, I chose a red mahogany stain. |
One Saturday in October, I ventured out to Park Slope and took a stroll along
5th Avenue toward the Old Stone House Park where there happened to be a festival-The Kings County Annual Fiber Festival.

I stumbled upon these great felted pumpkins and corn cobs with such amazing colors. |

They're by Decadent Fibers hailing from Kinderhook in Upstate New York. I ordered one of their great pumpkin kits with all the materials included. So fun! and therapeutic ;) |
